Camille Symmons – Managing Director
Prior to starting up CCP, Camille worked in various industries, giving her a broad grounding in business.
Camille started at the age of 17 in the entertainment industry, working with bands in their promotion, bookings and financial management, then moving towards the production side of the industry.
After starting a family and moving back from Sydney to Perth, an opportunity for Tim and Camille to own their own production company came about, and one that they can both can proudly say the achievements have far outweighed the toughness of the industry.
After joining The Events Industry Association in 1999, Camille made President the following year and remained for 7 years. During this time, Camille worked on the Perth Arena Project, held a position on the Tourism Council Board of Western Australia and sat on the Marketing and Planning of Iconic Events in Western Australia for Tourism Western Australia.
In 2010, Tim Bradsmith left CCP and Camille, with the help of Sean McKernan, have run the company which has grown from strength to strength while still maintaining the same ethos of Service, Professionalism, respect and Loyalty will always be an integral part of CCP.
Camille’s experience covers all areas of site and production management and extends to the ability to develop the necessary risk and assessment plans for holding large scale events. Her Knowledge of production requirements and logistics has made her known as a very efficient site manager who can remain calm under pressure.
Over the last 30+ years Camille has seen many companies come and go and can honestly say, “a tough skin in this industry is a must and the loyalty of good crew will always get you thru the hard times”, this is what keeps us all going.
Sean McKernan – General Manager
Sean has been involved in the entertainment industry for over 23 years, covering all aspects of production including Lighting Design, Production Management and Event Production.
Sean specialises in Lighting production and design and has been with Concert & Corporate Productions for the last 16 years.
His experience is sought after by Western Australian Symphony Orchestra and WA Opera Company for all their outdoor events and is responsible for the lighting design, creative concept and liaison with each company’s Artistic Directors.
With an Advanced Diploma from the WA Academy of Performing Arts in Lighting and Design, Sean has continued to lead the Production Department at CCP for nearly two decades and has expanded the business and its capabilities within its core sectors of Lighting and Video to lead the market in WA.
Les Cross – Warehouse Manager
Les has been with CCP from its inception and has a long history in the Australian Lighting and Touring Industry over the last 30 years.
Les is responsible for the CCP Warehouse and all that it contains.
He is a qualified Boiler maker which comes in handy with our custom fabrication jobs that we perform in-house.
You will often find Les behind the wheel of his big baby our Hino 13T which he is very protective of.
Dean Gratwick – Production Manager
Dean joined CCP in 2007 as a casual crew member.
He established himself as well respected and in demand technician before taking a 2 year break. Dean returned to CCP in 2014 and quickly settled back in to his old home and cemented his position and reputation.
Dean was promoted to Production/Operations Manager in 2015 and has proven himself as a relaible and respected Industry professional.
He will most likely be found out on site looking after any CCP rig that goes out, Dean is also in demand as an LD with many acts calling on his skills as an operator.
Lee Gillis – Operations Manager
Lee has over 25 years’ experience in the entertainment industry and following on from 12 years in Sydney he has decided to return home to Perth to commence with CCP as Operations Manager in 2016.
Lee has spent the past 8 years working at the Sydney Opera House as a Lighting Supervisor, also taking on the role as Head of Lighting Department as required and spent 2 years developing a sustainable events management project for the Opera House where he was able to put his degree of Environmental Management to good use.
The Opera House saw Lee working with such clients as The Australian Ballet, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Opera Australia, Sydney Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare Company, and large projects such as Vivid Live, Prince, Sting, and The Helpmann Awards.
It was from his calm and professional demeanour delivering lighting for such events, often during high pressure situations, that made Lee the ‘go to guy’ for many of the high profile, large scale shows that were often presented at the Sydney Opera House.
Lee also an extensive history of touring with rock bands as a Systems tech and lighting designer, as well as working many corporate events, school shows and theatre productions.
David Murdoch – Senior System Technician
David joined CCP in 2012 as a casual crew member while studying for his Advanced Diploma in Production and Design – Lighting Design at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
He was promoted to full time Production Technician in 2014 after completing his studies.
David’s strengths in Video Production are second to none and he heads up CCP’s Video & Lighting Department and maintains overall control over our entire inventory.
David was promoted to Senior System Technician in 2016 and is a well respected member of our team.
Josh Walther – Senior System Technician
Josh joined CCP in 2012 as a casual crew member while studying for his Advanced Diploma in Production and Design – Lighting Design at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Josh has been a valuable member of our Casual Crew for many years and joined us full time in 2016.
Josh has demonstrated his keen ability as a Lighting operator and programmer and is a very capable Senior System Technician.
Amanda Flett – Office Manager
Amanda joined us in 2016 and has proved herself invaluable to our team in a short time.
She looks after all things administration and takes care of us all while we are in the office.
She is the smiling face you first meet when you visit our Belmont offices or call us on the phone.
Khalid Parekh – Service Manager
Khalid joined the team at CCP in 2012 to run our Service Department. He has a distinguished 30 year career in electronics both in Australia and India.
Khalid brings a wealth of knowledge to our business and there isn’t anything that he cant fix.
He welcomes any and all challenges.
